2 piercings in each ear that I never put earrings in, 1 cartilage piercing that always has a small stud in it, and 5 tattoos, itching for another!

My various maladies–fibromyalgia, chronic headaches, migraines, shin splits, plantar fascitis, blah blah blah

Of course. You can’t tell me that *we* are the smartest thing the universe has to offer
50 Do you believe in miracles?
Of course. Some things just happen with no explanation.

Absolutely.

Love? No. Attraction, lust, longing, hope? Yes.
53 Can money make you happy?
Of course it can. It can’t give you love or health or self-acceptance, but it can give you financial peace of mind, and that goes a long way.

YES SMASH THAT PATRIARCHY!

Your body, your choice. If men were the ones to carry the babies, this would never even be a question.
56 Do you have strong political beliefs?
I am super liberal, and if you’re not, you might not like my social media or my blog. But I do believe in the power of having conversations with someone who thinks opposite of you.
57 Do you have strong religious beliefs?
I have strong anti-organized religion beliefs. That being said, I also believe live and let live, and if religion works for you, that’s cool. But don’t try to convert other people. We’re all on our own journey.
58 What do you think the most important thing you can give a child is?
As many have said before me, BOOKS! They can take you a million places.

Another handful of tortilla chips from the kitchen at work, lol.

Water, as always. Sometimes I mix it up with sparkling water.

A Crime Junkie podcast. I really enjoy true crime and there are a ton of podcasts surrounding it.

Now I’m thinking about how many true crime podcasts I follow.
63 What are you waiting for right now?
Lunch break so a friend and I can hit the gym.
64 What are you most excited about right now?
My facial next Saturday…I get the best naps when I’m there.

The new The Staircase episodes on Netflix. I don’t think he did it, and you can’t convince me otherwise.

I have vivid memories of standing on a low bridge in Hawaii and being splashed soaking wet by a shark. According to my mother, it was a large fish that barely got my toes wet.

89 Do you wish you could change your past?
Sometimes Laura and I play this game where we discuss ONE decision that ONE of us could have made differently, and EVERYTHING that would have never happened as a result. I would for sure do some things differently, especially knowing what I know now.
90 What’s your dream job?
Reading books to recommend which would be good movies. Is this a real job? I heard it once in a Judy Blume book as a kid and it’s all I’ve ever wanted to do ever since.

Reality TV

Poofing! You know, like when you can magically *POOF* from one place to another. Is there a technical term for this? Probably.

A better paying, more engaging job. (Leaving this answer too. Again, accurate)

Of course. I’m never going to read all the books on my TBR without it.

Erm…no idea.

Not always, but often.
99 What one piece of advice would you give to yourself at age eighteen?
The guy isn’t worth it.
100 Where would you like to be in five years’ time?
A house with a yard, a job I care about, and more squish-face dogs.
Katie (not Kate), I think I love you! Are you sure we’re not separated at birth? No, probably not… I’m a bit older than you. But Katie! We both love true crime (I LOVED The Staircase — that happened very near to where I live, BTW) and true crime podcasts! I also suffer from migraines and fibromyalgia! And if I could have three pugs (or more) I would, but I have to make do with just one!

Oh my gosh I love hearing this!! But I’m so sorry that you also have fibro and migraines!!! i really love finding people all over the country (and the world!) who we find through the book community!
