Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

HIIIII I’ve skipped out on TTT the last few weeks because the topics weren’t really doing it for me, but this week was Back to School. I’ve always loved back to school, especially now that I don’t actually have to go to school.

This week was a bit of a freebie, and while I would normally do my favorite school topic of all time, I already did a Top Ten post on boarding schools a few months ago. So this week I’m going with my second favorite…college!

1. Charmed Thirds by Megan McCafferty. I adore this third installation in the Jessica Darling series, which covers all four of her college years and the summers in between.
2. Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell. I related so hard to Cath. Eating protein bars in her dorm room rather than figure out the dining hall on her own? Totally me.
3. Blind Kiss by Renee Carlino. I just read this one recently, and really loved it. I was surprised at how much. The college years in this one were particularly precious.
4. A Little Something Different by Sandy Hall. Okay realistically I hated this book, but I loved that it had 14 POVs, including a squirrel and a bench.
5. We Are Still Tornadoes by Michael Kun & Susan Mullen. A book told entirely through letters, one in college, one stuck back in their hometown.
6. The Royal We by Heather Cocks & Jessica Morgan. About the first half of this one takes place in college in England, and it’s a fairytale romance with a literal prince.
7. Finding Felicity by Stacey Kade. I didn’t love this one either, but I did love the college setting and the Felicity TV references.
8. I Hate Everyone But You by Gaby Dunn & Allison Raskin. Told exclusively through texts and emails, this is a book about best friends going to college across the country from each other. It reminded me very much of my best friend (hi, Laura!) and I in college, if texting had been a thing then. We had AOL Instant Messenger and calling to walk each other to class instead.
9. Just One Day by Gayle Forman. I always forget that part of this book takes place in college, but it totally does!
10. Easy by Tammara Webber. I never liked this title or cover, but this is one of the few NA titles I actually enjoy. When I skim past the ex-boyfriend parts, it’s a really enjoyable book.
