Top Ten Tuesday- Titles And Covers That When Put Together Made Me Want To Grab The Book Immediately

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

This week’s topic is: Titles or Covers That Made Want to Read/Buy the Book. I’m making it Titles AND Covers That When Put Together Made Me Want To Grab the Book Immediately.

Hello, and welcome back to my hardly every updated blog! This is the part where I swear I’m going to get better about writing and posting and we all know nothing is going to change! Really though–I swear I’m gonna start posting more regularly.

As for this week, I had planned on a few release day reviews, but…alright look. I read an ARC of The Woods Are Always Watching by Stephanie Perkins which was one of my most anticipated books of the year. The release was pushed back almost a YEAR or something, and Stephanie has always been an auto-buy, auto-love for me. And her last foray into YA horror territory, There’s Someone Inside Your House, was a true favorite. But The Woods just…didn’t quite do it for me. And I truly hate to speak unkindly of one of my queens, so I can’t bring myself to write anything less than a glowing review for her. So this is all I will say on the matter please buy her book in support anyway.

ANYWAY

Today is my birthday! To celebrate, I’m actually posting a Top Ten which is honestly one of my favorite things to both write and to read. I also love this topic–I have my own shelves on Goodreads for both “cover love” and “title wins”. So let’s get to it!

USUALLY I MAKE SURE TO LINK EACH BOOK BACK TO GOODREADS AND I TELL YOU WHY EVERY BOOK MADE IT TO MY LIST BUT WORDPRESS HAS DELETED MY LIST FOUR TIMES AND I GIVE UP HERE IS MY DUMB LIST.
