Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
This week’s topic: Books with Red, White, and Blue Covers in honor of the 4th of July. I copied my best bloggy friend, Bookish Geek, and only picked 9 because I can’t deal with trying to divide 3 colors into 10.
To make this a little more interesting, I picked books only from my “Cover Love” shelf on Goodreads. Note that “Cover Love” DOES NOT MEAN I love the book. In some cases, I DNF’d or hated them.
I did still end up with a lot of my same old standbys, but I got some new ones in there! My goal is to start getting new books onto my Top Ten Tuesday lists so they’re more exciting for me and for you guys.
Happy 4th, everybody! If you need me, I’ll be reading The Cruel Prince, watching Independence Day, and listening to Hamilton on repeat.
Did you just steal my Hamilton GIF idea lmao WHY ARE WE THE SAME PERSON

Haha, I love the stripes. I agree that 9 books look much better than 10.
